OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Bruce Buchholz, President
Bruce holds a BS and Masters in Agricultural (Mechanical) Engineering from Cornell University, as well as an MBA in Finance from Syracuse University, and has led a distinguished career in the HVACR industry. He spent more than 20 years with Carrier Corporation, holding a number of executive jobs in global engineering, manufacturing, and serving as the Vice President and General Manager of a global business unit. Subsequently, Bruce led several other HVAC companies as President and CEO, including the largest independent HVAC and refrigeration service provider and installer in the United States.
Mike Caterson, Vice President of Operations
Mike is one of PJM’s original team members, first joining the company in 1985 as a plumber. After working his way through company ranks to the position of Project Manager, he was appointed Vice President of Operations in 2000. In his capacity as V.P., Mike is responsible for overseeing and providing hands-on support for all facets of PJM’s day-to-day operations.
Mike Phillips, Vice President of Project Management
Mike earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and brings to PJM a wealth of experience, leadership and technical expertise encompassing all areas of mechanical construction management. He has been involved in numerous landmark projects throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and directed many key energy reduction projects for prominent clients in the higher education sector during his long and successful career.
Jim Decker, Design/Build Manager
Jim attended Temple University and has over 30 years of construction experience, holding positions that including Design Engineer, Project Manager, Project Executive and Director of Construction. He has consistently produced positive results on complex projects with strict budgets and demanding schedules. As D/B manager, Jim oversees all construction operations, systems design, estimating, and management to ensure superior project delivery and outstanding customer service to PJM clients.
Dennis Griffin, Acting Service Manager
Dennis has over 20 years’ experience in the HVAC service industry. He joined PJM in 2009 as Service Technician and earned promotions to Field Supervisor and his current position due to wide-ranging expertise in disciplines that include Carrier controls, boilers, package and split systems, VAV boxes, and more. He is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute with a diploma in HVAC/R and completed his apprenticeship program for Local 9.
Rick Wey, Sales Manager
Rick has extensive sales experience in the HVAC industry. Following a long career with Trane, he's held high-level Sales Management positions for large mechanical contracting firms throughout the eastern United States. Areas of expertise include management of Service Sales, Design/Build Sales, and Direct Sales. He holds a BA from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Hak Sung, Chief Financial Officer
Hak has more than 20 years of diversified financial and operations experience in construction and manufacturing on a domestic and international basis. He is fluent in English and Korean and holds a BS in Economics from Rutgers University.
